This is not the game you want if you feel like being Travis Pastrana and throw double back-flips. If you're looking for pure MX the game is great. Lap after lap lines will evolve and the stray rut from when you went wide will still be there. The physics are decent but what really shines is the ground/dirt effects. Thankfully this is on gamepass because if I had paid absolutely anything for this I would be bitterly disappointed.
Menu music is about as generic as you can get and thats it. Besides that there is basically no sound design to even speak of. Your engine is just constantly running at the exact same high note of noise the entire time. It is honestly more fun riding a bike in GTA V than it is on this bike specific simulator. It's no fun to ride around the courses either. In my last race a CPU rider brushed my head in mid air and all it did was force the nose end of my bike down a bit. Bikes will frequently clash in the air but rather than causing crashes they just sort of bump off invisible buffers around the rider/bike. Forza Horizon 4 genuinely doesn't take much longer to load it's entire map at the beginning of the game than this takes to load up a race. How can it feasibly take nearly a minute to load that and then require to be loaded again to start a race. What is it loading?! Why does it take so long to load whats there anyway? These aren't gigantic sprawling courses filled with detail its a big deluge of brown with some ad hoardings. The load times are absolutely terrible and it loads again in between heats. Everything is sort of blurred through a filter which seems like something they've done to cover up the fact that there is basically little to no graphics on show here. It looks as bad as I have seen a game look in a very long time. The bikes lack any real detail as do the courses which have basically no life to them whatsoever outside of some random flares going off. Textures are jagged, you can barely read the names on the backs of the jerseys, the ad stands are low res and jagged. This game genuinely looks like something the last gen of consoles could produce with ease. We've just come so far in terms of technology that basically any game studio can put something out that looks at the very least decent. It is very rare you'll find a modern game with poor graphics. Or, Milestone ne peut certainement pas être considéré comme un acteur de la scène "indé", vu leur passé et leur taille, d'autant que leurs jeux sont vendus au tarif "plein pot". 3 ! Il utilise ici le moteur Unreal pour des raisons d'économie (on s'en doute), un moteur très fréquemment utilisé par les **** développeurs indés avec des fortunes très diverses.

Du côté du Motocross, ce n'est guère mieux avec déjà (!) la troisième mouture de leur MXGP. Déjà, leurs MotoGP sont de plus en plus bâclés au fil des ans et leurs tentatives de diversification avec les motos de tourisme (les "Ride") ont tourné court : ce sont en effet des daubes épouvantables.
